Artist statement

I create research spaces for coming alive – on stage and in the studio. My work moves between contemporary clownerie, physical theatre, and facilitation, unfolding in two fields:

  • Non-verbal solo show MISSION
  • Clowntraining format PlayFool.

Driven by a rebellion against being „correct“ instead of „real,“ I transform personal drama into tragicomedy.

I investigate the tension where the „proper person“ collapses to reveal something vulnerable and impulsively alive. I use the body as an honest instrument.

With 15 years of experience as a psychological counselor, I hold an ethical and safe framework for this exploration. I invite people to „bring their own shit“ to the stage, navigating it through transparency and play. I see myself not as a teacher, but as a guide through the „human mess.“

I want audiences and participants to leave with a spark of enthusiasm for being alive—brave enough to honor their own beautiful, messy humanity.

SOLO Show „MISSION“

MISSION is a non-verbal solo performance rooted in contemporary clowning.
It unfolds as a journey through vulnerability, contradiction, and the quiet courage of being alive.

Premiered in Barcelona (2025) under the direction of Carlo Mô

The story about the courage to be fully alive.

An angel-like clown enters the stage, chosen by God but clueless of its purpose. It does not carry a message of holiness; it carries a heart full of human dreams—to be a music star like Queen, a dancer, or a Formula 1 driver.

MISSION is not a display of physical precision or calculated rhythm. It is a raw, non-verbal explosion of emotionality. It is the grotesque poetry of a being caught between a divine calling and the chaotic, beautiful mess of being alive.

In this performance, the „correct“ is sacrificed for the „true“.

Every movement is a vulnerable search for identity, stripping away the assigned mission to reveal the radical visibility of the soul.

MISSION is available for international festivals and guest performances.

PlayFool WORKSHOP

A playful format for actors and non-actors — reconnecting with presence, play, and being alive.
Facilitated wordlwide and also online · Based in Augsburg, Germany · Available worldwide.

I invite participants to reconnect with presence, spontaneity, and the simple pleasure of play.

Working with elements of clowning, improtheater, physical experience, and verbal reflection, PlayFool creates a space where body, imagination, and dialogue meet.

No performance skills or theatrical background are required. Rather than learning techniques, participants are invited to let go of control, correctness, and self-judgment. Personal stories and inner blocks are not analyzed, but gently transformed through humor, presence, and shared exploration.

Held within a safe and ethical framework, PlayFool is an invitation to get back into your light – and to rediscover what it means to be fully alive.

„I could let my true self out—the parts I usually have to hide.“ (Nicole)

„You made it possible for me to cry again. It wasn’t embarrassing; it was healing.“ (Max)

„I felt free, unconstrained, happy. You will always be a turning point in my life’s journey.“ (Yulia)
